[ It's a moment before Ruby can find her voice to respond. Yang...here...in this city. They'd been a continent apart before, but now, just like that, they're so close to seeing each other again. ]

Do you know where she, um - is staying?

[ "Lives" just doesn't sound quite right. ]

Many things. For one it protects us from having our emotions drained out by the environment; it's very important to keep it on you at all times.

But another use is telepathy: if you call out to your sister with your mind, you might be able to find her and talk to her.

...Telepathy? [ That's....weird. ] You mean I can....read her thoughts?

[ Weird and kind of sketchy?? ]

A bit, although in this case it's more like being able to send thoughts to each other.

[A light pause... and then another smile and nod, softer than the last time and brightening the air just a bit. She's glad that Ruby trusts her like this already, even after losing her memories.]

[ Then, her expression pulls into a concentrated frown, and she squeezes her eyes shut like it's the only way to communicate her thoughts. ]
